It was a day of driving slowly with the windows down and feeling the sun and the mountain air flowing across us. We stopped often and walked on the fire roads, exploring this gem of a mountain, so close to the Bay Area and yet to alien and unexplored. We both ended up on this road at one point, taking pictures of the rising sun and the waving grass. Truly one of my favourite memories of this time.
