You inspire me to move beyond seeing

You teach me. You love me. You help me

see that I am not as perfect as my ego believes.

There are days when I am lost in my head

and you show me the suffering

the death

the realities of life

and I love you all the more for it.

I was not put here to feed the illusions

and yet they feast upon me.

You show me. You teach me. 

And I love you for it.

Don't hide your truths, your demons,

as hard as they may be,

they make you the man I love.
