If I were to ask people to list my virtues, patience would not be one of them, and rightly so. I have a love/hate relationship with patience. But when I stand on a beach and watch the sun rise and breathe in the wet mist rolling in off the pacific, I want time to stop. I yearn to be in that moment and just be present. I'm able to wait with little to no expectations. Invariably, my best shots come from these moments.
