The smokestack from the old brickworks factory in the Don Valley. Originally started as a paper mill in 1830, the Taylor brothers quickly found a great source of clay and the factory would launch in 1889. Most of Toronto was built with bricks from this location.

A cold morning down at the Brickworks trying to paint with clouds, only there weren’t any. here’s what I did manage to snag. Playing around with my Lee 10ND filter.

One of the final processed shots from my photo shoot of the band “do mar” some time back. It was an awesome adventure for my first band shoot. The room was dreadful and tiny. My secondary radio receiver and strobe failed to fire every time. But I had a great time and I believe I came out with some alright stuff for the band.

I was out on a photo walk a few days back and I came across two girls and their dad sitting in the park.

I’ve been thinking a lot about youth and the how the decisions we make when we are young shape so much of our future life.

Monday was a crazy day for me. I worked from 6am to 1pm with nothing but quick bathroom or coffee refill dashes. At 1pm I slumped back in my chair and realized I had to get out of the office. 

A storm was rolling in and I had long wanted to go to the top of a nearby parking garage I can see from my office window. So I grabbed my camera bag and dashed outside. It was a truly refreshing 30 minutes and then it was back to the grind. :)
